Dear Students and Families,

I am beyond thrilled to be your child's first-grade teacher this year! This will be my first year in 1st grade at Olympic View.

In our class, each day is a fresh start. My goal is to create a positive, safe, and supportive environment for my second graders. We are a family that treats each other with respect, shows kindness, and tries our best in everything that we do. I love playing games in my classroom and going outside any chance we get.

My passion for teaching and learning is something I hope will instill a love of learning and wonder in each student.

I will do my best to inspire and lead them to academic and personal success. I believe that relationships are the key to success in learning, so I make an effort to get to know all of my students and families on a personal level. I believe that the relationship between families and the teacher is necessary for school success.

Throughout the year, I will communicate through emails, ClassDojo, and phone calls. Contact me anytime if you ever need to discuss your child or their classwork. I am so excited to get to know all of my students and the people who make them who they are! It is going to be a fun year in first grade!
