Hello Students and Families,

 

I was born and raised in Oak Harbor. I was home-schooled during middle school but played volleyball and basketball for North Whidbey! I then attended OHHS here and also played volleyball, basketball, and tennis. After high school I attended college at Northwestern in Orange City, Iowa where I played volleyball all four years. I majored in Elementary Education and Minored in Mathematics with a Secondary Endorsement. For my student teaching I taught 7th and 8th grade mathematics in Salem, Oregon. After, I went over to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where I taught 4th grade at an International school. I taught over at OHMS for the first four years and am excited for my fifth year here at NWMS.
