Dear Students and Families,
Since 2016, I have been teaching at Oak Harbor School District, and have been at the Exceptional Academy for the past two years.
My primary goal is to help high school graduates learn to become as independent as possible. Our staff expects that enrolled students are ready to behave like adults to learn the skills they need to become employed, keep employment, and be a part of their community. We teach independent living, community access, and employment skills. Ultimately, all the students in this program who want employment should leave this program with a paid job.
