I am so excited to be teaching Kindergarten at Olympic View Elementary School. This is my ninth year teaching and my first year at Olympic View. I have previously taught kindergarten at Crescent Harbor Elementary for three years. Before that, I taught first grade in Hawaii as well as kindergarten and first grade combined at a Montessori school in Maryland.
I love teaching and making learning fun. Kindergarten is the foundation for each student’s academics so I believe it is essential that learning is a positive experience for each student. My goal is to foster a love of learning while providing a positive environment and encouraging students to explore, question, and wonder.
I’m looking forward to a fun-filled school year and working with you and your child.
