National Board Certified Teacher
Hi, I'm Amy Coleman. I've lived in the spectacular Pacific Northwest since 1999. Before that, we lived in Virginia (where I'm from), Iceland, and Montana. My husband is retired from the Navy. We have two spectacular children, Amanda and Blaine. Amanda graduated from the Oak Harbor School District in 2012, and Blaine graduated in 2015.
I consider myself a lifelong learner and feel like I am at the best place I can be here at Olympic View Elementary. We are all scholars and scholars learn every day. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, a Master of Arts degree in Education, and I am a National Board Certified teacher. I just finished college at Western Washington University in a Principal Certification program. One thing not many people know about me is that I've wanted to be an archaeologist since I was in the 4th grade. I am excited to serve students as the LAP/Title I teacher this year.
