Welcome parents and guardians of first graders! I look forward to working and learning with you about your student as we navigate through first grade together. I have been with Olympic View Elementary since 2015 but have subbed and worked in education in the Whidbey Island Community 10 years prior. As a native of Ketchikan, Alaska I love this island! It is beautiful and reminds me of home; and I love saying, "It's hard living in paradise". At South Dakota State University I earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, specializing in birth-age 8, so I have a knack for first grade especially.
