This will be my 18th year teaching first grade in Oak Harbor. Our classroom provides a safe, positive, and productive learning environment. I am looking forward to working with your child this year,
 
I grew up in Bellevue, Washington and lived in one house until I moved to Oak Harbor in 1994.  After graduating from the University of Washington, I taught first grade at Hillcrest Elementary for 9 years.  During that time, I received my master’s degree in education.
 
From 2003 - 2014, I was a stay-at-home mom for my two daughters. I returned to the classroom in 2014 where I taught all-day kindergarten at Olympic View Elementary. In my spare time, I like to bake, garden, craft, organize, and run. Most importantly, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
