Tutoring
Members of the National Honor Society provide peer tutoring every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2:30 pm -3:30 pm in Mrs. Boswell's room (A175).

Resources Available:

  • NHS Members who have dedicated themselves to upholding excellent grades in all rigorous courses offered at the high school
  • Community volunteers (occasionally) who are masters in one or more of the core subjects
  • Five computers
  • Textbooks for English, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Biology
  • Basic Calculators
  • Basic art supplies ranging from scissors and glue sticks to construction paper and crayons
  • Senior Parent Meeting
    Class of 2013 Parent NightApril 9th at 6:00 pm Student Union Building Senior Class Advisors, Linda Otruba, Carla Hurst and Jonathan Frostad will host a Senior Parent Night on Tuesday, April 9th at 6:00 pm in the Student Union Building (SUB). Upcoming events will be discussed and topics will include: Prom, Parent Tea, Finals Week, Paper Toss, Senior Breakfast, Senior Awards Assembly, Senior Awards Night, Graduation Rules/Changes, Walking Eligibility, Grad Night, Baccalaureate and Graduation Requirements.

    Spirit Week
    The week after spring break is a spirit week!
    Monday is lazy day, come to school dressed to comfortably impress!
    Tuesday celebrity day, this should be interesting!
    Wednesday please wear pink and grey in honor of our speaker Houston Kraft!
    Thursday is Harry Potter versus Star Wars, are you a wizard or is the Force strong within you, young Patawan?
    Fridayis Hippie day, remember to be the change you want to see in the world!

    TOLO
    Are you going to TOLO? GLO-LO TOLO will be on Saturday, April 13 from 8pm to 11 pm. Buy your tickets during both lunches April 8-12. The price will be $10 with ASB and $12 without. Make sure to dress to glow by wearing white or bringht neon colors at the dance. If you intend to bring a guest that is not an OHHS student please be sure to turn in your completed guest permission form by the end of school on Wednesday, April 10.

    Junior Parent Meeting
    Class of 2014 Parent NightApril 16th at 6:00 pm Student Union Building Senior Class Advisors, Linda Otruba, Carla Hurst and Jonathan Frostad along with the OHHS Counseling Department, will host a Junior Parent Information Night on Tuesday, April 16th at 6:00 pm in the Student Union Building (SUB). The Senior Class Advisors will help you learn what to expect for your students last year and how you can help them prepare for the busy senior year schedule. You will also have a chance to meet the people behind the scenes of important senior activities and an opportunity to sign up to chaperone an event. You may even find out some answers to questions you didnt know you had! Ms. Hurst, the Career/College Counselor, will provide information about postsecondary planning and high school graduation requirements as well as information on college visits, applying early and scholarships. You wont want to miss this important informational meeting!

    Baccalaureate
    The baccalaureate ceremony for the Class of 2013 will be held on Sunday,June 9th beginning at 4:30 pm. The site for the baccalaureate is Living Word Fellowship on Crosby Ave.

    Graduation Ceremony
    Changes have been made to the OHHS Graduation. It is imperative that you read the following information very carefully. Graduating seniors MUST attend the MANDATORY GRADUATION PRACTICE in order to receive their 7 tickets and walk at graduation.

    Graduation begins promptly at 6:00 pm on Monday, June 10, 2013.
    The gates to the stadium will open at 4:45 pm.
    The gates to the stadium will close at 5:55 pm to allow the senior class to make their entrance for graduation.
    At 6:10 pm the gates for the visitor's side will open back up for guests to sit in the visitor's section or stand around the fencing.
    Ticket holders will be seated in the grandstand seating providing they arrive before 5:55 pm.
    You must have a ticket to sit in the grandstand area. (This includes all-ages; babies, toddlers, children, adults, senior citizens.)Pets, signs, balloons, noisemakers, camera tripods are not allowed in the stadium.
    Dress attire is business casual.
