"Judge's Choice" -
State Art Show

For the second year in a row, an OHHS student took one of the top prizes in the state art show. Kelsey Kruger's piece entitled "Question" was the Judges Choice at the OSPI statewide art show. See the 2013 Winner's Gallery

"Caught in the Act"
OHHS junior Jonathan McLaughlin was honored in front of the City Council for being Caught in the Act of doing the right thing. The award is presented by the Oak Harbor Youth Commission. Here is a video of his story, as told to the City Council. Nomination Form: (pdf) (doc)

OHHS ONLINE REGISTRATION for 2013-2014 COURSES


Dates and Information for Online Registration which BEGINS WEDNESDAY, APRIL 24.
Make sure you understand the Online Registration Instructions. Students can go on Skyward Family Access (using your student login and student password) to view available courses before your Online Registration Window opens on your date. View samples of what Skyward Online Registration looks like and create mock schedules based on available classes. Click for more information on How To Prepare For Online Registration.

REGISTRATION FOR 2013-2014 SCHOOL YEAR
The Course Requests Process for next school year occurs in February.
The 2013-14 Course Guides are now available.

Student Online Registration for 2013-14 will take place in April.

Special Education Students (IEP)
Soon your student with an IEP will register for next year's classes. A schedule will be designed for your student based on graduation and career goals. Online scheduling will be done by the student's IEP manager. If there are specific concerns, your student's IEP manager will contact you before making final decisions. Please disregard any phone calls or letters telling you to register your student. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your student's IEP manager.

HomeConnection Registration Process
HomeConnection students who completed the Course Request process in February should go online to register for classes on the same dates as OHHS students. Read about the Registration Process for HC students.

Top Chef: Culinary Team and Restaurant Management Team win State
The Culinary team repeated as champs, with sixth win in seven years. The Restaurant Management team wins state for third time in four years.

OHHS choir director receives Golden Apple Award
Darren McCoy was one of nine teachers and three school programs celebrated with a video tribute that aired on KCTS (channel 9). Watch the KCTS video.

Middle schools explore CTE offerings
