Graduation Requirements
Class of 2008 and Beyond

Students must meet each of the following requirements to earn a diploma through the Oak Harbor School District:

Earn 23 high school credits
Students receive 0.5 credits per semester for classes they pass. Our district currently has the following credit requirements:

Complete a Culminating Project
Each student will develop and present (to a panel of community members) a portfolio of evidence from the student's years in school demonstrating proficiency as a learner, a community member, an employee, and a planner. This integrated learning project asks students to summarize their experience and knowledge; and show how their work ethic will affect future career and educational opportunities.

High School Plus Plan
Each student must have an academic and career plan extending at least one year beyond high school. Students must describe their plan for getting to graduation and succeeding in college, work, travel, etc.
