THE MANY MOODS OF CHRISTMAS brings together two of Whidbey Island's preeminent musical ensembles, the Saratoga Chamber Orchestra, now in it's third season under the musical direction of conductor Legh W. Burns, and the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts - Conservatory Choir, conducted by Robert W. Prosch.

This concert has the distinction of being the inaugural event at Oak Harbor High School's new auditorium facility and will feature many Christmas and holiday favorites including:

FOUR CHRISTMAS CAROLS, "Away In A Manger", "Fum, Fum, Fum", "O, Green and Shimmering Tree, Good Day!" and "I Saw Three Ships" arranged for orchestra and choir by Mack Wilberg, conductor of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

"MARCH OF THE THREE KINGS", more formally known as "Farandole" from the L'Arlesienne Suite #2 by Georges Bizet for orchestra.

Highlighting the concert will be 'THE MANY MOODS OF CHRISTMAS", a glorious suite of popular carols arranged by Robert Russell Bennett and Robert Shaw for combined orchestra and choir.
