Roxie the Peanut Dog at work
Roxie the Peanut Dog made her debut at Crescent Harbor Elementary this morning, with KING TV Channel 5 recording the event. Roxie is a service dog for second grader Logan Gonzales, who has an abnormally severe peanut allergy. Roxie is still in training, learning to keep Logan safe by detecting peanuts and peanut oils wherever he goes. You can see Roxie tonight on KING TV news or on Tuesday of next week when she is scheduled to be on NBC's Today Show.
