When it's announced on radio and television stations that Oak Harbor School District is on LIMITED BUS TRANSPORTATION: Buses will travel on designated snow routes. The affected routes are as follows:

    OHHS/NWMS (Snow Routes 3,4, 9, 18, 24,25, 29,32,35,46,51,60)
    OHHS Main Campus Only (Snow Routes 33)
    OHHS/OHMS (Snow Routes 2,7,8,22,36,58,59
    BVE (Snow Routes 22,33,35,58)
    CHE (Snow Routes 3,18,32,46,)
    HCE (Snow Routes 7,8,36,59, 24)
    OHE (Snow Routes 60,22)
    OVE (Snow Routes 25, 29)

IN THE EVENT OF LANGLEY BLVD. CLOSURE, ALL NORTH CAMPUS STUDENTS WILL BE PICKED UP AND DROPPED OFF AT THE INTERSECTION OF AULT FIELD ROAD AND LANGLEY BLVD. (DISCOUNT FURNITURE PARKING LOT)

ROUTE 2 OHMS OHHS
  • Students in the Pine Terrace Development on Summit Blvd. will need to be at the Pizza Factory on Ault Field Road.
  • Whidbey Apartments will be picked up and dropped off in the parking lot of Car Quest Auto.
  • STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF A HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HILL

ROUTE 3 CHE NWMS OHHS
  • Bus will not enter Mariners Cove Development. Students will be picked up and dropped off on Polnell Road.
  • Bus will not enter Polnell Shores Development. Students will be picked up and dropped off on Polnell Road at Rockcress Lane.
  • Bus will not pick up or drop off students on Crescent Drive at Old Polnell Road or at Reservation Road. Students will be picked up and dropped off on Polnell Road at Old Polnell Road intersection.
  • Students living in L&M Acres will be picked up and dropped off at the entrance of L&M Acres.
  • Students on Devries and Spit Fire area will need to come out to the fire station on Silver Lake Rd.
  • Students should wait either at the top or bottom of a hill during poor road conditions. Bus will not stop on a hill for safety reasons.

ROUTE 4 NWMS OHHS
  • Bus will not travel southbound on Monkey Hill Rd. from Henni Rd. to SR-20.
  • The stop on Monkey Hill Rd.; just south of Henni Rd. at intersection will be moved to 4260 Monkey Hill Rd. on snow days.

ROUTE 7 HCE OHMS OHHS
  • IN THE EVENT OF LANGLEY BLVD. CLOSURE, ALL NORTH CAMPUS STUDENTS WILL BE PICKED UP AND DROPPED OFF AT THE INTERSECTION OF AULT FIELD ROAD AND LANGLEY BLVD. (DISCOUNT FURNITURE PARKING LOT).
  • ALL STUDENTS ON FAIRWAY LANE WILL BE PICKED UP ON SWANTOWN.
  • STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT EITHER AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF THE HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP ON A HILL, FOR SAFETY REASONS.

ROUTE 8 OHMS OHHS
  • Pick up/drop off will be made at the entrance of Harris-Custer Estates (Allyson & Custer intersection)
  • Students on the 16th and 17th side of Fireside will be picked up and dropped on Fort Nugent Ave and Union or Quince and Fort Nugent.
  • Victory & 10th will meet at Liberty & Swantown Rd. Ft. Nugent & Union
  • Penn Cove area students will be picked up/dropped off along View Ridge Dr.
  • STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF A HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HILL.

ROUTE 18 NWMS OHHS
  • Students on Spitfire and Devires will be picked up and Dropped off on Devries and Frontier
  • STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF A HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HILL

ROUTE 19
  • Pit Rd will Meet Bus at Pit Rd and Road into Thunderbird Mobile Home Park.

ROUTE 22 BVE OHMS OHHS
  • All students in Redwing will be picked up and dropped off at the entrance of Heller Road & Island Country Transit Stop. (Will turn bus around in church parking lot)
  • All students in Parkwood Manor will be picked up at the entrance.
  • Falls Creek - pick up is at Elhwa and Crosby.
  • Cherry Hill - pick up will be at top and bottom entrances of Cherry Hill and Crosby.
  • STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF A HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HILL

ROUTE 24 CHE
  • All students in the Northgate Terrace Development will be picked up and dropped off at Northgate Dr and Salal.
  • Students in the Deception Circle Development will be picked up and dropped off at the entrance to the development at the Transit Stop on SR 20
  • Students should wait either at the top or bottom of a hill during poor road conditions. Bus will not stop on a hill for safety reasons.

ROUTE 25 CHE OVE NWMS OHHS
  • Students in the Big Berry Loop Area will be picked up and dropped off on 10th and Oak Harbor St.
  • Students on 11th and Ronhaar and 11th and Summner will be picked up and dropped off at Oleary and 11th
  • STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF A HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF A HILL.
  • Students at Guam and Wake Ave will be picked up and dropped off at the Herron Bus Shed

ROUTE 32 CHE NWMS OHHS
  • Ponderosa area will be picked up and dropped off at Ponderosa and Henni Rd. or Imperial and Henni Rd.
  • The bus stop on Troxell Road at Kinzie Road will be picked up and dropped off at the intersection of Troxell Road and Alamo Way.
  • Walking path by Hubbard Hill, Anglers Haven and Bakerview will be picked up and Dropped off at Koontz and Troxell Rd.
  • 348 and 306 Henni Rd, will be picked up and dropped off on Jones Rd.
  • Students on vanderwell rd will be picked up and dropped of at Henni and Ponderosa.
  • STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF A HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HILL.

ROUTE 33 BVE OHHS
  • Students on Outrigger loop and students on Airline way will need to meet the bus at Hillcrest Elementary School for pickup and Drop off.
  • Students on Golf Course Rd will need to meet the bus as the Park and Ride off of Clover valley rd for pick up and drop off
  • STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF A HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HILL

ROUTE 34
  • Students in the Northgate Development will be picked up and dropped off at the corner of Northgate Drive and Salal
  • Students on Alamo Way will be picked up and dropped off at Alamo Way and Troxell Rd.
  • Students at Fireside Lane will be picked up and drooped off at Fireside Lane and 16th Ave.

ROUTE 35 BVE NWMS OHHS
  • All Students in Eagle Vista Development will be picked up and dropped off on SR 20 and Eagle Vista or Capital Street.
  • Students from Dugualla Bay Heights need to comt to Birch and Taylor for pickup.
  • All Students in the Northgate development will be picked up and dropped off at Northgate and Salal
  • Students should wait either at the top or bottom of a hill during poor road conditions. Bus will not stop on a hill for safety reasons.
  • Student at Waterloo need to come down to Waterloo and Scenic Heights Rd.

ROUTE 36 HCE OHMS OHHS

For HS:
  • All students on Clover Valley Rd will be picked up and dropped off at the Park and Ride Parking lot.
  • Thornberry and Sunset will meet the bus at Thornberry @ Swantown.
  • Fairway Lane will meet the bus at Swantown and Fairway Lane.
  • Liberty and Heritage will meet the bus at Swantown @ Liberty Lane.
  • Union @ 17th and Union @ Rockrose will meet bus at Union @ Ft Nugent Rd

For Elementary School:
  • Students in the Pine Terrace Development on Summit Blvd. will need to be at the Pizza Factory on Ault Field Road.

  • All students in the Thunderbird Mobile Home Development will be picked up and dropped off at the Transit stop Located at the entrance of the development on SR 20

  • All students on Beech lane will be picked up and dropped off at Western and Alder

ROUTE 53 OHE
  • All Students on Kimberly will meet at Kimberly & Jones Rd.
  • All Students on Rifle Rd. and will meet at Gun Club & Oak Harbor Rd.
  • L&M Acres Development students will meet at the entrance
  • All Students at Northgate Terrace will meet at Salal St. & Northgate Terrace Drive

ROUTE 56
  • In case of SEVERE ice and/or snow conditions, pick up and drop off will be at the following locations:
  • Student on Ferry Ave. pick up will be the Island Transit bus stop on Wanamaker Road.
  • Students on Ireland St. will be picked up in front of the city hall offices on Barrington Drive.

ROUTE 58 BVE OHMS OHHS
  • All students at 890 Kimball Dr will be picked up at dropped off at the transit stop on Swantown Rd
  • Students at Vista Circle will be picked up and dropped off at 24th (Haga Rd) and Vista Park Dr
  • Students at 16th and Union will be picked up and dropped off at either Union and Fort Nugent or Swantown and Liberty lane.
  • Students on 16th and Rockrose and 16th and Fireside will be picked up and dropped off at Swantown and Fireside lane
  • Students at 16th and Victory will be picked up and dropped off at Swantown and Liberty Lane
  • STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF A HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HILL.

ROUTE 59 HCE OHMS OHHS
  • Students on Emerson @ Williams will be picked up and dropped off at Hastie Lake @ Marg
  • Students on Williams @ Sabrina Will be picked up and dropped off at Hastie lake @ Marg or Hastie lake @ North View Rd
  • Students on Williams @ North View Rd will be picked up and dropped off at Hastie lake @ North View Rd
  • The bus will not go into housing developments off of West Beach Rd. All Students in these developments will need to meet the bus as the entrance of your development on West Beach Rd.
  • Students should wait either at the top or bottom of a hill during poor road conditions. Bus will not stop on a hill for safety reasons.

ROUTE 60 OHE NWMS OHHS
  • All students in Dugualla Bay Heights Development will be picked up and dropped off on Taylor Road and Birch Street.
  • All students in Greenoch Loop will be picked up and dropped off on Dundee Way
  • All students at 890 Kimball Dr. will be picked up and dropped off at the Transit Stop on Swantown Rd.
  • Students in the Fireside development will be picked up and dropped off on Swantown and Fireside and Ft. Nugent and Nienhuis.
  • Students living in Crosswoods Circle development will be picked up and dropped off on Swantown and Crosswoods Circle
  • Students should wait either at the top or bottom of a hill during poor road conditions. Bus will not stop on a hill, for safety reasons.

ROUTE 61

  • Sonic Lane will meet bus at Silver Lake Fire Station
  • Secluded Lane will meet bus at Taylor Rd @ Secluded Lane

  • Garfield Court will meet bus at Taylor Rd @ Whispering Pines
  • Jeffery Lane will meet bus at Advance @ Silver Lake Rd
  • L & M Acres Development student will meet at the entrance

ROUTE 67
  • Students in the Parkwood Mobile Home Park will be picked up and dropped off at the entrance on Crosby rd
  • Students in the Valley High Trailer Park development will be picked up and dropped off at the entrance to the development on Oak Harbor Rd
  • Students on Elderberry will be picked up and dropped off of Elderberry and Taylor
  • Students on the Northview Rd. will be picked up and dropped off at the intersection of Northview Rd. & Hastie Lake Rd.

ROUTE 68
  • Students in Wagon Wheel Trailer Park will be picked up and dropped off at the entrance on Heller Rd
  • Students on Harrier Circle will be picked up and dropped off at Harrier Circle and Fairhaven
  • Students at Valley High Trailer Park will be picked up and dropped off at the entrance to the park on Oak Harbor Rd
  • Students at Suburban Mobile Home Park will be picked up and dropped off at the entrance to the park on Heller rd
