2012-13 SNOW ROUTES

When it's announced on radio and television stations that Oak Harbor School District is on LIMITED BUS TRANSPORTATION: Buses will travel on designated snow routes. The affected routes are as follows:

ROUTE 1: Hand-In-Hand ELC

Students past Kinzie Rd on Evergreen Rd and Jones Rd. will be picked up and dropped off at Kinzie Rd. and Troxell Rd.

ROUTE 2: OHHS/OHMS/HCE

Whidbey Apartments will be picked up and dropped off in the parking lot of Car Quest Auto at the top of Langley Blvd hill.
Students on Airline & 9th will be picked up and dropped off at Airline @ Crosby ave
STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF A HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS BUS WILL NOT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HILL

ROUTE 3: OHHS

Students living in L&M Acres will be picked up and dropped off at the entrance of L&M Acres.
Students should wait either at the top or bottom of a hill during poor road conditions. Bus will not stop on a hill for safety reasons.

ROUTE 4: HCE

Students living in L&M Acres will be picked up and dropped off at the entrance of L&M Acres.

ROUTE 6: Island View School - Anacortes - NO SNOW ROUTE

ROUTE 7: OHHS/OHMS/HCE - NO SNOW ROUTE

ROUTE 8:

Pick up/drop off will be made at the entrance of Harris-Custer Estates (Allyson & Custer intersection)

ROUTE 9: OHHS/OHMS

Student at Larch Dr & Spruce Ln will walk out to round-about on Eastern Dr

ROUTE 10: Hand-In-Hand ELC

Student will be picked up and dropped off at entrance right side at home addresses

ROUTE 11: OVE Choices

Pick up and Drop off will be at Hastie Lake & Northview

ROUTE 12: BVE/CHE/HCE/OHE/OVE/NWMS/OHMS/OHHS - NO SNOW ROUTE

ROUTE 18: OHHS/HCE- NO SNOW ROUTE

ROUTE 18: CHE

Students in the E. Sleeper Rd and Bottineau Place, including Greenoch Loop meet at intersection of Taylor Rd and Sleeper Rd.
Students on NE 16th will be picked up and dropped off at the bottom of NE 16th and Regatta. Bus will not go up or down 16th during snow conditions
Students at W. Green Valley will meet at Wilson and Green Valley Rd.

ROUTE 19: NWMS

Student will meet the bus at Taylor Rd and Secluded Lane.
Pit Rd will meet Bus at Pit Rd and Road into Thunderbird Mobile Home Park.

ROUTE 22: OHHS/OHMS/BVE

All students in Redwing will be picked up and dropped off at the entrance of Heller Road & Island Country Transit Stop. (Will turn bus around in church parking lot)
Cherry Hill - pick up will be at top and bottom entrances of Cherry Hill and Crosby.
STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF A HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HILL

ROUTE 24: CHE

All students in the Northgate Terrace Development will be picked up and dropped off at Northgate Dr and Salal.
Students in the Deception Circle Development will be picked up and dropped off at the entrance to the development at the Transit Stop on SR 20
STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT EITHER AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF A HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP ON A HILL FOR SAFETY REASONS.

ROUTE 25: OHHS/NWMS/OVE

Students in the Big Berry Loop Area will be picked up and dropped off on 10th and Oak Harbor St.
Students on 11th and Ronhaar and 11th and Sumner will be picked up and dropped off at O'Leary and 11th
STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF A HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF A HILL.
Students at Guam and Wake Ave will be picked up and dropped off at the Herron Bus Shed

ROUTE 29: OHHS/NWMS/OVE - No Snow Route

ROUTE 32: OHHS/NWMS

Ponderosa area will be picked up and dropped off at Ponderosa and Imperial.
The bus stop on Troxell Road at Kinzie Road will be picked up and dropped off at the intersection of Troxell Road and Alamo Way.
Walking path by Hubbard Hill, Anglers Haven and Bakerview will be picked up and Dropped off at Koontz and Troxell Rd.
348 and 306 Henni Rd, will be picked up and dropped off on Jones Rd.
Students on Vanderwell Rd will be picked up and dropped off at Ponderosa and Imperial.
STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF A HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HILL.

ROUTE 33: OHHS/NWMS/BVE - NO SNOW ROUTE

ROUTE 35: OHHS/NWMS/BVE

All students will be picked up and dropped off at Northgate Rd & Salal St.

ROUTE 39: Hand-In-Hand ELC

Pick up and Drop off will be Stop Sign at SW 6th and Judson

ROUTE 43: Hand-In-Hand ELC - NO SNOW ROUTE

ROUTE 46: OHHS/NWMS

All students in the Northgate Terrance Development will be picked up and dropped off at Northgate Dr and Salal
STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF A HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HILL.

ROUTE 47: CHE

Ponderosa area will be picked up and dropped off at Ponderosa and Imperial.
Students past Kinzie Rd on Evergreen Rd and Jones Rd. will be picked up and dropped off at Kinzie Rd. and Troxell Rd.

ROUTE 48: Hand-In-Hand ELC - NO SNOW ROUTE

ROUTE 51: OHHS

All students on Beech Lane will be picked up and dropped off at Western and Alder Rd.
STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT EITHER AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF A HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP ON A HILL FOR SAFETY REASONS.

ROUTE 53: OVE

All students in the Northgate Terrace Development will be picked up and dropped off at Northgate Dr. and Salal

ROUTE 56: Hand-In-Hand ELC

Student on SW 6th pick up @ corner of SW 6th and McCrohan St
Students on Ulysess St. entering from Ft. Nugent & SW Union St will be picked up and dropped off at Fireside Lane.
Students on SW 10th Ave will be picked up at SW Bomer St and SW 10th Ave

ROUTE 57: Hand-in-Hand ELC

Students on Airline will be picked up and dropped off at Airline @ Crosby

ROUTE 58: HCE

Pick up/drop off will be made at the entrance of Harris-Custer Estates (Allyson & Custer intersection)
Penn Cove area students will be picked up/drop off along View Ridge Dr.
STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF A HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HILL.

ROUTE 59: OHHS/OHMS/HCE

Students on Williams @ Sabrina Will be picked up and dropped off at Hastie lake @ Marg or Hastie lake @ North View Rd
Students on Emerson @ Williams will be picked up and dropped off at Hastie Lake @ Marg
Students on Williams @ North View Rd will be picked up and dropped off at Hastie lake @ North View Rd
The bus will not go into housing developments off of West Beach Rd. All Students in these developments will need to meet the bus as the entrance of your development on West Beach Rd.
STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT EITHER AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF A HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP ON A HILL FOR SAFETY REASONS.

ROUTE 60: OHHS/NWMS/OHE

All students in Dugualla Bay Heights Development will be picked up and dropped off on Taylor Road and Birch Street.
All students in Greenoch Loop will be picked up and dropped off on Dundee Way
All students at 890 Kimball Dr. will be picked up and dropped off at the Transit Stop on Swantown Rd.
STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT AT THE BOTTOM OF WATERLOO DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP ON A HILL, FOR SAFETY REASONS.

ROUTE 61: OHHS/BVE

Secluded Lane will meet bus at Taylor Rd @ Secluded Lane
Garfield Court will meet bus at Taylor Rd @ Whispering Pines

ROUTE 62: OHHS/HCE

Students in Wagon Wheel Trailer Park will be picked up and dropped off at the entrance on Heller Rd
Students at Falls Creek Loop will be picked up at Elwha and Crosby.
Students at Cherry Hill will be picked up at top of hill at Cherry Hill and Crosby
Students at Redwing will be picked up at Heller Road and Island Transit Stop
Students at Orchard Loop will be picked up at Hillcrest Elementary School
Airline way will be picked up at Hillcrest Elementary School
9th Ave will be picked up & dropped off at Hillcrest Elementary School
Calista Cout will be picked up & dropped off at Oak Harbor Rd.
Puffin Street will be picked up & dropped off at Broadview Elementary School
STUDENTS SHOULD WAIT AT THE TOP OR BOTTOM OF A HILL DURING POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. BUS WILL NOT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HILL.

ROUTE 67: OHMS/NWMS - NO SNOW ROUTE

ROUTE 68: OHHS/NWMS/CHE

Will not go to east end of Waterloo Road AM or PM. Will turnaround at 1010 Waterloo and turn left on State Route 20 to continue on route.

ROUTE 73: OHHS/NWMS/OHE

Students in the Northgate Development will be picked up and dropped off at the corner of Northgate Drive and Salal St.
