CURRENT STAFF:
Annual Bloodborne Pathogens Refresher --This course is to be taken every school year for at risk positions. You will be notified by Human Resources after the start of each new school year if your position is required to partake in the training. After completing the training, your name will be reported to Human Resources automatically. No further action is required by the staff member.

Boundary Invasion - Employee-student relationships: Identifying and prohibiting inappropriate boundary invasions.

STAFF-NEW HIRES:
The school district requires all new hires to participate in the following three trainings. The trainings should be completed prior to your first day of work.

"What Every Employee Must Be Told" -- PowerPoint or PDF
View the presentation. Once completed; print the certificate, both you and your administrator sign and forward to Human Resources at the ASC.

1) Bloodborne Pathogens Training and 2) Hazard Communication Training:
Click the link provided above to go to the GCN website for trainings. Upon completion of both trainings, print out your certificate and forward it to Human Resources at the ASC. Instructions to log in to the GCN website are as follows:

  • Click LOGIN TO VIEW TRAINING and follow the directions to create your personal login.
  • The district code is 30910.
  • You will have access to numerous trainings. The Bloodborne Pathogen and Hazard Communications trainings are required. You may participate in any other training if you wish.

SUBSTITUTE-NEW HIRE:
The school district requires all new substitutes to view the presentation, "What Every Employee Must Be Told." Please see the instructions above in the New Hire section.
