Tech Prep Credit and Industry Certifications
at Oak Harbor High School

Tech Prep Direct College Credit gives students the opportunity to earn college credit while enrolled at Oak Harbor High School. There are no expensive books to buy, no travel, no tuition, just earn a "B" or better grade in the designated classes.

Students stay on the high school campus and recieve transcripted college credit for college-level classes upon completion of approved high school course. There is no charge for students who have earned Tech Prep credit.

In order to receive the college credit, the student must:

• Enroll for the class through their high school teacher;
• Be assessed by the high school teacher to have achieved specified competencies at a "B" or higher level;
• Complete the required registration forms.
