Healthy schools mean a healthy community. That's why parents and other community members work hard to stay involved in the education of our young ones.

Oak Harbor Schools have many opportunities for individuals, groups, and businesses to become involved. To pass on an idea, learn about volunteer opportunities, or donate items to local schools, contact Martha Wallin, community relations director for the district.

Every school has a parent-teacher group that is actively involved at the school level and at the district level. Contacts from each of those groups are available to discuss how you can join or contribute to local schools.

Each school has Navy Partners who participate in school activities, work with teachers, mentor students, and sometimes even volunteer labor to get jobs done.

Our Community Partners - clubs, businesses, and city - help support particular programs, take part in student and teacher recognition, join district planning committees, work with athletics, and sometimes conduct fundraisers for school-related needs.
