Proudly Transporting Our Future

Students arrive at school by bus on first day of the new school year. Bus Routes for the start of the 2010 school year are now published.

Every day more than 2,100 students are safely transported to and from school with one of the nation's best safety records.

There are 32 bus routes, each one operating twice each morning and twice each afternoon. High school and middle school students are transported so that they arrive by 7:50 am and leave by 2:30 pm. Elementary school routes arrive at schools by 8:55 am and leave at 3:35 pm.

Maps showing safe walking routes for each school are available.

A Code of Conduct is strictly enforced. Cameras on each bus help identify problems and solve conflicts in an effort to keep buses under safe management at all times

School zone flashing lights schedule. Speed is strictly enforced.

Snow emergencies and school closures are announced as early as possible through our hotline number 279-5060, radio and television stations, and the web site www.schoolreport.org
