Hillcrest PRIDE makes for useful lesson in Empathy
The holiday food drive season got an early start this school season with Hillcrest Elementary third. fourth, and fifth grade students gathering more than 1,000 items for Help House. The project grew out of the school’s P.R.I.D.E. motto, to provide a lesson for “E” (empathy). Thanks to the students of Mrs. Casey, Mrs. Koorn, and Mrs. McKinley.
